OSSO develops telephony solutions based on VoIP (Voice over IP). By developing with a strong focus on scalability, stability, maintainability and security we push VoIP to the same level as traditional PSTN telephony in regards to reliability but with all the modern possibilities and a price tag far below the traditional solutions.
Possibilities
In short: everything is possible. Because we can fully manipulate call handling in our software, what was previously unthinkable becomes possible. Next to traditionally well known features such as IVR (Interactive Voice Response), queues, hold music, messages, voicemail and other PBX possibilites we can connect a telephony system to other software systems within your company.
Network infrastructure
Because VoIP travels on IP networks, be it internet or private LANs, the network infrastructure is of great importance to provice a decent quality of service. For this reason, our service and expertise is not limited to the software alone. We have also taken measures to assert that VoIP traffic travels swiftly through our own IP-network and we provide the support to realise the same for your own local network.
Open source
For the development we use a couple of mature open source VoIP software suites like Asterisk and OpenSIPS for call handling and routing. For these suites we implement your required needs. Around this core the links to your or third party software is realised, complemented by a web interface to manage the complete telephony environment.
All software we create is licensed under an open source software license.
We are currently preparing to release to the public our already built core, with customer specific functions stripped. This will be an open source PBX solution with a web based management interface.
